April 5th 2015,

A few new photos:

Marie brought in her Heart Bargello:

Joy brought in her panel quilt... this one is her interpretation of a pattern used to border a panel. Very nice!!!

March 21st, 2015

Here are a few more photos of recent finishes:

This is Joy's BOM by Quilt Doodle Doodles 2014. She's added some personal touches to this quilt. It's a beauty Joy!

She also brought in her bunnies table runner... ready for spring!

Sally found the flower fabric in her stash and made this small quilt adding matching colors. Great job Sally!

Hollie brought in one of her Triple Irish Chains to show us. Love the colors she used here. Very nice!!

March 19th, 2015,

We're back to work on photos so it's time to update the Show and Tell page!

First up, Marie brought in one of her quilts... this one was hand quilted by a group of ladies from Shemogue who would get together to quilt for others. It's a BIG one! If you know Marie, she likes large bed quilts.

Sunday came in during our sale week in January and brought us this top to show us what she'd been working on. They're antique blocks... love these colors and fabrics!

This is Hollie's Imagine quilt top... I LOVE this! She transforms panels like no other!! It's a beauty!

More later as I work away at editing photos...

January 3rd 2015

While our daughter Madelaine was home during the holidays, we had some special visitors... Beth brought this lovely table runner... it was quilted using the circle attachment. She was too shy to hold it up for a photo!

Carole came by with an awesome finish! She hand quilted this gold beauty! Well done Carole!!

Just last week, Hollie brought her quilts in to show Lise. This Triple Irish Chain will get hand quilted.

And here is a recent finish... one of two nautical quilts done on Lolah.

And her Santa quilted during her first session on Lolah.

She managed to add a little stocking to that one!

The Scrappy triple Irish Chain just sparkles! So pretty! You do good work Hollie! Keep them coming!

Remember Dorothy's purple quilt? http://www.spruceitupquilting.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
if the link doesn't work, check out Sept 22nd, 2014 blog post.

Dorothy showed us her finish at the Sackville Quilter's Guild Christmas dinner on Tuesday and since I had forgotten my camera and my cell phone, I asked her to send a photo of her finish.

It's a beauty! Tossed Disappearing Nine Patch! 30+ different purples!! What a stash!

December 16th, 2014

Sally came in the other day after a customer had just shared the tutorial for making these pillowcases. We were all intrigued and amazed at this technique and quickly rounded up some fabric. She returned with 4 done up ready for gift-giving! LOVE these manly pillowcases! Great job Sally!

Dec 2nd, 2014: Beth came in to show us her Little Twister heart... gorgeous!

Sally was here too... Sally was the first person to rent out Lolah and I thought I had blogged about her beautiful work on a baby quilt. It must have been a fluke that I forgot or perhaps I hadn't quite decided I would take photos of customers quilting. In any event, I do have a picture or two of her but sadly they are on that dead hard drive... can't wait for my computer guru to arrive... and hopefully he will be able to recover the info...

Here she is though... she bought the apron panel to make this rooster apron and returned a day or two later to show us the finished project! I didn't take photos of that but I had her wear this apron made by Hollie.

She also quilted this fall panel she bought at the shop... love this one! BTW: this is hand quilted... excellent work Sally!

Here's another beauty she shared with us... one of Hollie's quilt tops but hand quilted by Sally!

Just gorgeous!

Oh... she wasn't done... she even made a table runner... also hand quilted! Is she ever an eager beaver!! All hand-quilted! She bought more fabric to make another... because she's keeping this one for herself!

Well done ladies!

November 25th, 2014:

First up is Carol S. with her beautiful Stonehenge fabrics which she showed off at the Sackville Quilter's Guild's November meeting. You may remember she quilted this on Lolah with a little help from her friends!

Next is Carole L. with place mats, (she made 8 of these for her dining table) and a project bag; well done!

November 10th, 2015 Friendships are formed when you sew! Can't wait to have a larger space...
